Lafayette Library’s Main Branch Reopened Today
The Lafayette Parish Public Library's Main Branch started a new chapter today as it opened to viewing audiences following a six-year closure for remodeling.
The building at 301 West Congress Street, near Lafayette's downtown, went under a major renovations which included a completely remodeled children's area.
The public is invited to view the facility's renovations until 2 p.m. today. The branch will be open to the public for regular hours starting Tuesday.
