Lafayette Man Accused Of Having Sexual Relations With Young Girl Turns Himself In To Police

20-year-old Deneres Handy of Lafayette now sits in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Facility after he surrendered to police for allegedly having sexual relations with the girl, who's under 15-years-old.

Lafayette Police spokesperson Corporal Paul Mouton says they got a complaint on January 14 that Handy had committed the acts with the girl on December 29, 2012, and it was filmed with a cell phone.

Handy has been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on charges of Pornography Involving Juveniles and Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.
