Lafayette Man Arrested For 2018 Murder
25-year-old Traven Solomon of Lafayette has been arrested by Scott Police for his alleged role in the slaying of Robert Felix in the late hours of November 1, 2018.
Scott Police Chief Chad Leger says Solomon was arrested Monday at his place of business in Downtown Lafayette. He has been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for Second Degree Murder, Possession of Schedule I Narcotics, and Taking Contraband to a Penal Facility. He currently sits in jail on a total bond of $290,500.00.
In November, Felix was found shot outside of his home located in the 2900 block of W. Willow Street.
"Scott Police would like to extend their gratitude to Lafayette Police Department for their assistance and efforts the night of the shooting, assistance throughout the investigation and with the apprehension of Solomon," says Chief Leger.
