28-year-old LeSean Conyers of Lafayette has been charged with 1 count of Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery following an armed robbery at the Cankton Country Bar on May 31.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chief Eddie Thibodeaux says Raheem Landry allegedly robbed two victims of over $4,000 in cash. He’s been arrested following tips, witness interviews, and video footage.

Investigators say Conyers communicated with Landry before and during the robbery, allegedly giving information from inside the bar to him about how much money one of the victims had on him and the optimal time to commit the armed robbery.

Conyers bond has been set at $40,000.00 as he now sits in the St. Landry Parish Jail.
