Lafayette Parish Declares State Of Emergency
A State of Emergency has been declared for Lafayette Parish as the area braces for the worst it will get from Tropical Storm Harvey.
Lafayette Parish Mayor-President Joel Robideaux says they are preparing for the possibility of up to 5 additional inches through tonight. The National Weather Service evening forecast indicates 2.5 inches or rain through tonight.
Tuesday's forecast is expected to bring anywhere from 2 to 6 inches of rainfall.
