Lafayette Police Identify Trespasser

The Lafayette Police Department has now identified the person who they say was trespassing at a man's home in the 100 block on Fanny Street Friday morning.

Lafayette Police say 36-year-old Barrett Farabee II of Lafayette was shot by the home owner.

The man encountered a naked Farabee in his backyard at around 8 o'clock Friday morning, and the owner of the home says Farabee was armed.

Lafayette Police says their investigation is still ongoing into the shooting.
