36-year-old Oliver Martin now sits in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center after several drugs were found at a home and a vehicle associated with him.

At the home in the 1100 block of Highway 1252 in Carencroon October 6, Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Narcotics Agents say they found one pound of Heroin with Fentanyl, one pound of Methamphetamine, two pounds of Cocaine, five pounds of Marijuana, MDMA, Promethazine along with other Schedule V drugs. Agents also located several firearms that had their serial numbers removed and $253,705 in cash.

In the car being driven by Martin on I-49 in Carencro on October 10, agents say they found approximately 380 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, appproximately 101 grams of Cocaine, approximately 20 grams of Crack Cocaine, approximately 4 grams of Heroin, 16 Suboxone Strips, 25 Buprenorphine pills, 10 Hydrocodone pills, 23 grams of Synthetic Marijuana, 32 grams of Marijuana and $284 in cash. Officers say Martin led them on a short pursuit before he crashed the vehicle he was driving.
