Lane Closures Happening This Week On I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge

Because of a sweeping operation, I-10 in both directions of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will have alternating lane closures through its length on St. Martin and Iberville Parishes. The closures will happen nightly from 9 PM until 6 AM on Wednesday and Thursday (December 12-13), weather permitting. There are no detours.

Also, LA 77 (Bayou Road) northbound and southbound under the I-10 overpass in Iberville Parish will have alternating lane closures beginning Monday, December 10, and lasting until Monday, December 17, as crews install a containment system on the I-10 bridge. This will happen daily from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, weather permitting.
