Lane & Shoulder Closures Happening On I-10 Thursday & Friday

Two closures happening on Interstate 10 should have drivers' attention over the next five days.

First, on I-10 Eastbound in Calcasieu Parish, there will be left lane and shoulder closures at where the interstate meets US 165. This will happen on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for surveying activities.

Second, on I-10 Westbound in Iberville Parish, there will be left lane closures happening at Exit 139. This will happen beginning Friday at 8:00 p.m. until Monday at 6:00 a.m. to repair the approach slabs at the LA 77 Overpass. An alternate route will be to take Exit 151 to LA 415 North, to US 190 West, to I-49 US 167 South, back to I-10.
