Local HS Seniors Write ‘Senior Thesis’ Song to Reflect on 2020

Teurlings Catholic High School seniors Sam Kelly and Sydney Boudreaux decided to write a song called "Senior Thesis" to reflect on the experiences of being in the Class of 2020.

Sam mentions in a Facebook post that she and Sydney have been singing together for more than 10 years and they thought they would write the song about their journey as seniors during the quarantine.

The Seniors of 2020 are experiencing what most of us haven't, and most of us have experienced what they never will: a "normal" senior year.

The school has posted the performance to its Teurlings Catholic High School - Rebels Facebook Page, and it actually tugged at my heart a little. Give it a listen.
