Lafayette Police and the Lafayette Sheriff's Office is investigating threats made against several schools in North Lafayette.
We are working to determine which schools specifically have been placed on lockdown, but we do know that no Lafayette Parish public schools have been affected, according to LPSS Chief Administrative Officer Joe Craig to KPEL News.
LPD Spokesman Cpl. Karl Ratcliff tells KPEL News this is just a precaution as "nothing is pointing to a violent threat."
