Spring in south Louisiana has started with several rounds of severe thunderstorms, and another round of bad weather is on the way.

Last weekend, we saw flooding in several areas of Acadiana, and this round of thunderstorms could bring more flash flooding, possible tornadoes, and hail.

As for the timing, it appears that the worst of the weather will arrive late Saturday night or early Sunday morning as a cold front enters the southern region, and by early Sunday morning, we mean before sunrise. Now, we are still a few days out, and the timing could change, but you most certainly want to be weather-aware late Saturday night.
