A driver in Lafayette, Louisiana put a News 10 crew in danger while they attempted to drive over a snow-covered road.

While reporter Gerald Gruenig and videographer John Weatherall were reporting live from the side of the Evangeline Thruway, a driver spun out and then peeled out on the roadway that was covered in snow.

You can see that the car approached the news crew and then continued on its way.

Gerald, who is one of the nicest persons you'll ever meet, was flustered by this type of behavior on the road, and at one point you can see and hear him direct a nearby officer to pursue the blue car.

We're glad that our friends at KLFY News 10 were not injured in this incident, but this type of behavior during a blizzard in south Louisiana is nonsense.

Officials are asking that everyone stay off of the roads as snow falls, and temperatures drop Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.

Here's the moment that a vehicle nearly hit the local news crew in Lafayette.
