Louisiana Driver Pulled Over for License Plate That Expired Almost 23 Years Ago [Photo]

We all get busy and let important things slide right? This Louisiana driver has been so busy he's let his license plate expire almost 23 years!

Last week an officer for the Slidell Police Dept. saw a driver with expired tags, so he pulled the man over to see what was going on. To the officer's surprise, the license plate tags expired in September...of 1997.

WTHR.com reports that when questioned, the driver reportedly told the officer "Sorry, officer, I've been busy lately and totally forgot to renew my vehicle registration. I will take care of it as soon as I get home."
