Louisiana Teacher Arrested At School After Drug Bust
Veteran elementary school teacher Melissa Pattison is facing felony drug charges after a narcotics investigation in St. Tammany Parish. The teacher was arrested on the Lyon Elementary campus in Covington on Friday.
WWL TV reported the task force investigation resulted in the arrests of four other people believed to be living in Pattison's home: Quinten Casnave, Austin Folse, Matthew Schenck, and Adelaide Sollberger.
The search of the home in Lacombe resulted in the seizure of ecstasy, LSD, marijuana, a suspected THC lab, Xanax and two firearms. She was booked with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. She was also booked with possession of drug paraphernalia and the illegal possession of a firearm.
Parents were told in a letter sent home that Pattison had resigned her position at Lyon Elementary for "personal reasons".
