27-year-old Kneoshia Anderson of Baton Rouge has been arrested and charged with child desertion.

What exactly happened in this incident?

An officer with the Baton Rouge Police Department was dispatched to an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Coursey Boulevard shortly after 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 20.

That person was able to get the child back to his apartment. Once at the apartment, the person who guided the child back home found four unattended kids between four months old to seven years old.

BRPD was able to locate the missing mom.

They were eventually able to speak to Anderson who said she was the parent and guardian of all the children. Anderson was informed about the child who was found unsupervised.

The responding officer went to the apartment and also found that four children were there by themselves. He then contacted Anderson, who returned home.
