Majority of Louisiana Approves President Trump
If the presidential election was held today, the majority of Louisianians would vote for Donald Trump.
Of course, it goes without saying that this is far from a surprise, as Louisiana is generally a very red state. In 2016, Donald Trump won Louisiana with 58% of the vote.
This week, a new Gray Television poll was released, which showed a 51% approval rating for Donald Trump in our state. The support is very regional however, with 60% approval in North Louisiana, and just 40% arrival in New Orleans. Baton Rouge was closer to center, with a 51% approval rating for the president.
43% of Louisianians say they would like to replace Donald Trump with a democrat, while the remaining 6% are still unsure at this time.
625 registered voters were questioned in the survey.
