Man Accused of Drugging and Raping Duson Woman
22-year-old Braylon Babineaux of the Branch Community has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail after he allegedly drugged and raped a 20-year-old woman in her home in the 300 block of Francis Prejean Circle in Duson on Sunday.
That's according to a press release from Duson Police Chief Kip Judice, who says the victim told his officers that she knew Babineaux and that she had passed out after they had an evening out. She then told authorities that she woke up to Babineaux allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with her and that she was unable to physically resist because she was paralyzed by what she believes was a drug placed in her alcoholic drink.
Babineaux surrendered on Monday morning and was booked on a charge of Third Degree Rape on a $40,000.00 bond.
