Man Shot To Death At Kathy Apartments

Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson is looking for answers and tips after the body of a 66-year-old man was found some apartments at the Kathy Apartment Complex.

Gibson says deputies responded to the Crowley apartments at around 11 o'clock last night to find that James Francis of Crowley had been shot in the head.

The Sheriff says he believes there might have have men some sort of argument that led to the man's death.

The man was shot once, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Acadia Parish Coroner's Office.

Gibson says,

"Deputies believe there may have been an argument/disturbance prior to the shooting. We are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything tied into this incident to call detectives at 337-788-8721 or Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish at 337-789-TIPS(8477)"
