WINTER PARK, Fla. (AP) — Authorities in Florida say the driver of an SUV accused of causing another vehicle to plow into a day care center was arrested in December for allegedly leaving the scene of a crash and drug charges.

Now authorities are looking for 26-year-old Robert Alex Corchado for Wednesday's crash.

A child was killed and 14 other people were injured when authorities say Corchado's SUV struck a convertible, which jumped a curb and smashed into the KinderCare building.

Authorities say Corchado then fled the scene.
