Man Wanted For Questioning In Reference To Lafayette Shooting

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in identifying the man in the drawing above. He is wanted for questioning in reference to a shooting on Humingbird Lane. Deputies say 33-year-old Clement Amos III was shot several times after being called by his female neighbor who suspected someone was trying to break into her apartment.

Deputies believe Amos came into contact with the shooter, then died from the shots. It’s believed the shooter fled the area on foot.

Deputies say the person in the drawing has gold teeth on top and his skin was described as very smooth. He's about 5'11" to 6'2". He has a thin build with a very dark complexion and very short hair. Anyone with information is urged to call Lafayette Crime Stoppers at (337) 232-8477.
