Meth Bust By Chitimacha Tribal Police
The Chitimacha Tribal Police Department in St. Mary Parish Office, with the help of the patrol division of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office, arrested three different people after discovering a "clandestine meth lab" in the vehicle after a stop.
The K-9 officer, Dozer, gave police an alert when he was brought to the vehicle, and that's when drugs were found.
The Chitimacha Tribal Police in St. Mary Parish arrested 34-year old Candace Bourque of Lafayette, 18-year old Bryston Ezernack of New Iberia, and 37-year old Norman Fred of Broussard on Thursday, February 14.
Police accuse the three of manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine. They also say the three had marijuana, and illicit prescription drugs.
All three were booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail with assistance from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.
