The Miles Perret Cancer Center is celebrating it's tenth year of service to Acadiana cancer patients this week.  Lacey Shelton joined 'Mornings With Ken & Bernie' today to discuss the event and services provided to the community.

Shelton said the Mile Perret Cancer Center will celebrate with an 'open-house' this Thursday June 21, 2012 at their offices at 2130 Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette.  The event will be from 10AM until 2:00PM and will be open to cancer survivors, their families and anyone who wants to learn more about cancer and services provided by Miles Perret.

According to Shelton,

"We have everything from medical supplies to nutritional supplements to wigs and a huge variety of support services and programs".

In addition to the 'open house' Shelton reminded us that the annual 'Miles Perret Games of Acadiana" will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Cajundome and Cajundome Convention Center.  The "Games of Acadiana" is the major fund-raising event for the Miles Perret Cancer Center.
