Lafayette High's Mondo Duplantis has done it again.

The pole vaulting phenom competed at the Texas Relays Saturday and he did not disappoint.

Duplantis, who was competing against some of the best in track and field, cleared 19 feet, 5 inches on this jump---with room to spare!

He finished 3rd in the overall competition. The future for this young man is bright (golden bright) and we can't wait to see what the future holds for this young athlete.

Lafayette should be PROUD of this young man and his recent success. His talents will take him to LSU where he has signed to participate in the track and field program there.

Go get em!!
