New Iberia Hosting Premiere for Lifetime Christmas Movie Filmed There
You may recall a couple of months ago when country singer/actress Jana Kramer was in New Iberia filming a Christmas movie for the Lifetime Channel.
Well, that movie will soon be premiering and the City of New Iberia will be hosting a party to celebrate the film's debut.
"Christmas in Louisiana" will premiere at the Steamboat Pavilion on Thursday, November 14 at 6:00 pm. The public is invited to attend the viewing and it's free to attend.
The Steamboat Pavilion is located at 102 W. Main Street. The premiere is being co-hosted by ON TAP.
What is the movie about? Here's the description according to the Lifetime Channel:
The Winter Family is Christmas royalty in New Iberia, Louisiana, and Sarah Winter (Jana Kramer), a successful lawyer and former Miss Christmas, is no exception. When she returns home to celebrate the anniversary of the town’s Sugarcane Christmas Festival with her mother (Moira Kelly) and her grandparents (Dee Wallace and Barry Bostwick), she rediscovers the magic of the season--and a little romance-- with her former Mister Christmas, Luke (Percy Daggs III).
