New Iberia Man Sentenced For Sex With Minor

Today 55 year old Ray Paul Dionne of New Iberia  was sentenced to 210 months in prison for traveling to North Carolina in order to have sex with a minor. US District Judge Richard Haik also sentenced Dionne to a lifetime of supervised release. According to evidence presented at his guilty plea Dionne admitted to traveling to North Carolina on two occasions to have sexual contact with a minor under the age of 12. On August 27, 2012 officers entered a North Carolina home and found Dionne lying in bed with the child.
