New Iberia Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

34-year-old Katherine Eastin of New Iberia was arrested in the 7000 block of Main Highway in St. Martinville this week following a narcotics investigation.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff Becket Breaux says Eastin faces the following charges:

• LA. R.S. 40:966A(1) Distribution of Schedule I (Marijuana)
• LA. R.S. 40:1041 Transactions Involving Proceeds from Drug Offenses
• LA. R.S. 14:26 Criminal Conspiracy
• LA. R.S. 40:967C Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine)

Eastin has been booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on a bond of $39,500.00.
