New Orleans Bowl Activities: The Second Line Parade
The Second Line Parade has become a fixture for Louisiana Ragin' Cajun football fans during bowl week for the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
Next Thursday night, Cajun fans get to experience the fun once again!
The parade, which is led by the Pride of Acadiana Marching Band, normally begins at 9 pm.
It's one of the many fun things fans can experience prior to the actual bowl game, which this year, which this year will feature the Cajuns and the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, on Saturday, December 17 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome at 8 o'clock.
The parade starts off at the team hotel, the Marriott on Canal St., takes a right on Bourbon St., and finishes off at Jackson Square.
Make sure if you're in New Orleans next Thursday that you make the parade part of your plans.
