Opelousas Man Shot Overnight

46-year-old Ricky Freeman of Opelousas was found dead in the street overnight at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Common Street.

Opelousas Police tell our news partners at KATC Freeman suffered one gunshot wound to the chest.

There have been no arrests announced in the case.
