Person of Interest in New Iberia Shooting Turns Himself in
UPDATE: 26-year-old Shaquille Daniels has turned himself in and has been booked in the Iberia Parish Jail on a probation & parole warrant for Robbery and a warrant for domestic abuse battery from the New Iberia Police Department.
More arrests are expected as the investigation continues.

One person is dead and two juveniles are injured following a shooting late Saturday night in the 400 block of Silver Street.
In a press release, New Iberia Police PIO Captain John Babin says the victim died at a local hospital. The two juveniles suffered non-life threatening injuries from stray bullets that entered the home they were in near the shooting.
Authorities continue to investigate.
