Lafayette Parish Assessor Conrad Comeaux is making the rounds promoting a program that allows certain individuals to freeze the assessed values of their homes. The freeze could make for long-term tax savings. If you fall into one of the following categories, you can contact the Assessor's office for more information:

- Over 65 years of age (as of January 1, 2019)

- 100% Disabled

- US Veteran AND 50% Disabled
