Louisiana Ragin' Cajun second baseman Hunter Kasuls is coming off a series at ULM in which he set a new Ragin' Cajun record.

Becoming the first player in school history to procure six hits in a single game, the senior from Texas has been named the Sun Belt Player of the Week.

In addition to his 6-6 performance in the game 3 win over ULM, he racked up 10 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBI and 6 runs scored over the course of the 3 game series.

Kasuls and the Ragin' Cajuns travel to Conway, North Carolina for the Sun Belt Conference tournament this week.

They'll play Appalachian State in a single-elimination game tomorrow at 5:30.

If Louisiana defeats App State, they'll advance into the double-elimination portion of the tournament bracket.
