Rep Jean-Paul Coussan Previews Special Legislative Session

A special legislative session was called to handle issues related to COVID-19 and the response to Hurricane Laura in southwest Louisiana. The 70 item call covers everything from nursing home visitation to FEMA. District 45 State Representative Jean-Paul Coussan joined Acadiana's Morning News to talk about the items that he thinks are a priority. Number one on that list is limiting the powers of the Governor during an emergency like the COVID-19 pandemic.
