Shepard Smith of Fox News was giving a weather update concerning Hurricane Matthew in 2016, and we think he was encouraging people to evacuate. But: did he go too far? You be the judge:

Hurricane Matthew was a serious storm, and people needed to heed the warnings that were put in place. It is important to encourage everyone to leave when a storm of this magnitude threatens, so Smith says something that should wake people up: "...and you and everyone you know are dead. All of you. Because you can't survive it. It's not possible, unless you are very, very lucky. And your kids die, too".

Well, I guess that's one way to convince people to take personal responsibility!

Y'all, if you are in the path of Hurricane Dorian, get out. If you are just outside of the projected path of this storm, get out. It could, without notice, change course, putting you in danger. It's not worth it. Because, you know, your kids will die, too.
