6 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say they investigating 36 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period.

Melissa Evans, 47, 411 9th Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 14, 2017 at 3 :07 am for criminal damage to coin-operated devices. A deputy investigating a report of a suspicious person at a business in Bayou Vista collected video evidence of Evans tampering with an arcade game. The deputy spoke with Evans at her residence and subsequently transported her to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Evans was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.

Steven Morris, 30, 113 Vista Village Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 14, 2017 at 1:06 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of violation of a protective order. Morris turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Morris was released on a $2,500 bond.

Dwayne Provost, 625 Hebert Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on February 14, 2017 at 4:41 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A correctional officer transported Provost from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Bail is set at $12,347.62.

Cole Fruge, 25, 1302 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 14, 2017 at 8:13 pm for domestic abuse battery and resisting an officer.

Miranda Topham, 35, 1311 Saturn Road, Lot #1, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 14, 2017 at 8:13 pm for domestic abuse battery.

Responding to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in Bayou Vista, deputies spoke with Fruge and Topham. Through investigation, deputies learned that the 2 subjects engaged in a fight during an argument. Fruge and Topham were taken into custody. During Fruge’s arrest, he repeatedly pulled away from deputies. Both subjects were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.

Justin Breaux, 32, 206 Laura Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 14, 2017 at 8:45 pm for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to yield, and possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. Breaux failed to yield, pulling onto Highway 182 in front of a deputy in Patterson. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Breaux. While speaking with him, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle and observed an open bottle of beer in a cup holder. Breaux refused to conduct a field sobriety test. He later registered a 0.212g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Breaux was released after posting $3,250 bond.
