Quan Troung , 35, 173 Martin Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 8:37 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jillian Lopez-Troung , 36, 173 Martin Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 8:37 pm for possession of marijuana.
Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section went to the residence listed above to investigate possible illegal drug activity. Detectives spoke with Q. Troung and J. Troung and learned that there was marijuana inside the residence. Detectives searched the location and found a bag of marijuana and a grinder. Detectives also found a bag of marijuana in J. Troung’s pocket. Both suspects were released on summonses to appear in court on May 10, 2017.
David Aucoin, Jr. , 20, 148 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 6:09 pm on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. The warrant was issued following a traffic stop investigation conducted by narcotics detectives in Morgan City. Detectives located a digital scale on Aucoin that had small pieces of crystal methamphetamine on it. While patrolling Bayou Vista, detectives observed Aucoin walking on Jupiter Street. Aucoin was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.
Donald Lacoste, Jr. , 37, 112 Shannon Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 6:24 pm for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a warrant for criminal trespass. The warrant stems from an investigation into a complaint of trespassing in the Berwick area in January. A narcotics detective found Lacoste trespassing on private property. Narcotics detectives located Lacoste at his residence on the warrant. Detectives smelled the odor of burning marijuana coming from Lacoste and received consent to search the residence. They found marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia. Lacoste was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.
Chad M. Kirkland, 32, 109 Mars Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 5 :19 pm for speeding and driving under suspension. A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle speeding 58 miles per hour in a posted 45 miles per hour (construction) zone on US Highway 90. The deputy stopped the vehicle, spoke with the Kirkland, and found that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver's license. Kirkland was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.
Genevia Dauphine, 31, 317 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 1:11 pm on a warrant for theft of a motor vehicle. The warrant was obtained following an investigation into a report filed in January of a vehicle that was stolen from a residence in Centerville. The victim left the vehicle at the residence with a subject for repairs over a year ago. The detective assigned to the case collected evidence that Dauphine and another suspect sold the vehicle to a scrap yard. This is the second arrest made in this case. She was released on a summons to appear on court on May 10, 2017.
Pamela Jones, 55, 1518 Cherry Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 12:26 pm on a warrant for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a report of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned from store personnel that a female subject was seen concealing items in her purse. The deputy identified the subject as Jones. A warrant was issued for her arrest. A deputy observed Jones in traffic on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista and stopped the vehicle. Jones was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Jones was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.
Alyssa Pontiff, 20, 103 Robicheaux Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 9:35 pm for improper lane usage and possession of marijuana.
Matthew Blanks, 35, 813 Iberia Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 9:35 pm for the following offenses:
Possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute
Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Obstruction of justice
Transactions involving drug proceeds
Possession of drug paraphernalia
While patrolling Bayou Vista, deputies observed a vehicle crossing over the fog line of US Highway 90 and conducted a traffic stop near Thorguson Road in Berwick. Deputies made contact with the driver, Pontiff, and a passenger, Blanks, and smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the car. While speaking with Pontiff, deputies learned that there was marijuana inside the vehicle and received consent to search. Deputies found a small bag of marijuana and a partially burnt marijuana cigarette near the driver's seat. While speaking with Blanks, deputies observed that he was attempting to conceal part of his body from them. Deputies received consent to search his person and found a bag of marijuana. Also during the search, a deputy observed Blanks shake his leg and then kick an item beneath the vehicle. The deputy retrieved the item which was found to be a bag of crack cocaine. Deputies also located over $900 in cash on Blanks' pants pocket. Pontiff was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017. Blanks was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Leslie Jackson, 33, 221 Mechanic Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 11:21 pm for no motor vehicle insurance. A deputy patrolling Highway 182 in Baldwin observed a vehicle without an illuminated license plate light and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, Jackson, and found that he was operating the vehicle without insurance. Jackson was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.
