According to the press release from the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, Captain Ginny Higgins says that Del Toro was booked into the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office. The judge set Del Toro's bond at $ 1,500,000.

Sheriff Breaux continues to encourage anyone in his parish who suspects that illegal drug activity is going on to contact their officials. Breaux says if something is happening in your neighborhood or around your business, you can report that activity to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Tips line. The telephone number is 337-394-2626.

Officials say that their investigation by deputies started after there was a question about suspicious activity at a home in the 200 block of Avon Drive. As things began to develop, the deputies were able to recover thirteen bags of methamphetamines. The investigation, according to Breaux, began on the evening of Wednesday, May 12.
