Sunday Fight Leads To Drug Arrest

Scott Police arrested two men on unrelated charges following a fight on Dulles Drive Sunday.

Scott Police Chief Chad Leger said officers responded to the victim who said she was beaten with a broomstick and strangled by Sean Guilbeaux.

During the investigation, the victim indicated that there were two subjects hiding behind a nearby residence. When officers approached, the subjects fled. Logan Thornhill was apprehended and claimed ownership of a bag containing codeine and marijuana. The other subject was later released.

Guilbeaux was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for aggravated battery. Thornhill was booked into LPCC for Possession of Schedule III, Possession of Marijuana, and Resisting an Officer.
