Michael Davis and his disabled veteran brother were at a car wash in Shreveport when suddenly, a robber pointed a gun at Davis demanding his money and his car. The quick-thinking Davis defended himself with what was available - the pressure washer currently in his hands, and it was all captured on dash cam.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office, along with help from the Franklin Police Department, set up a perimeter in that area, and they were able to arrest 29-year-old Irving Phillips Jr. in a home on Lee Charles Street.
Deputies say they have several suspects in custody at this time, but because of the ages of those involved, they will not give any additional information out about the suspects.
Police says that 31-year-old Justin Reed Seawright was found by authorities last week at a motel in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and he was brought back to Lafayette early Monday.
Detectives say that they believe Seawright used the white Mazda Tribute he stole from the grocery store parking lot to make his getaway after robbing the bank.
Cpl. Paul Mouton says Dylan Alfred is "considered a person of interest in connection to the recent armed robberies that have occurred within the City of Lafayette."
