Lafayette Police Looking For Christmas Day Carjacker

A man is accused of stealing a woman's 2001 Jeep Cherokee on Christmas.

Lafayette Police say it happened Tuesday night when a woman says she drove up to a gas pump at a station on at the 100 block of West Gloria Switch Road. She told police as she was getting out of her jeep, a man wearing dark clothing pushed her to the ground and stole it. She suffered minor injuries.

The jeep has a Louisiana License plate WQZ047.
