Stolen Vehicle Recovered – Suspects On Loose In St. Mary Parish

On August 15th St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a car being stolen at gunpoint on Mercury Road in Bayou Vista. Two men approached a woman sitting in her car and threatened her with a gun. The woman left the vehicle and called 911. On Sunday August 16th a car matching the stolen vehicle was seen by deputies on West Main Street in Franklin. When officers stopped the vehicle three men ran from the vehicle. The car was recovered and evidence collected.
