
Woman Carjacked at Gunpoint Outside Louisiana Walmart in Broad Daylight
What should have been a routine grocery store trip quickly turned into a nightmare for one Louisiana woman on Friday afternoon.

According to the Denham Springs Police Department, the victim called 911 just before noon on Friday at 11:10 a.m. and said someone stole her vehicle after threatening her with a gun in the parking lot of Walmart in Denham Springs.
Denham Springs Police Officers began their pursuit of the stolen black Toyota Corolla that continued into the Baton Rouge area until the car thief crashed on Greenwell Springs Road near Oak Villa Boulevard, according to
After the crash, a foot pursuit began, which was shortly ended on Oak Villa Boulevard by multiple law enforcement agencies.
The unidentified suspect has been arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. Authorities have not yet released their name or age.
Charges are currently pending, and details remain limited. Officials will provide additional information as it becomes available.
