Before you head to your local Texas Target or Walmart, you will want to make note of a recall affecting stores across the Lone Star State.

Texas Walmart and Target Snack Recall Over Metal Contamination

15,874 cases of several brands of oyster crackers were recalled due to possible fragments of stainless steel wire being found in the product.

The Food and Drug Administration initiated the recall on February 21, 2025, but says it is still ongoing. The FDA classified the recall as a Class II risk, which indicates that consuming the recalled products could cause temporary health concerns.

Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
