Christmas and Easter are the two most important holidays in the Christian world. Our celebrations of these holidays are kind of weird, if you stop & think about it. We celebrate the birth of Christ with folk tales about an old, bearded fat man in a red, suit delivering gifts to everyone in the world in a single night. We celebrate his resurrection with folklore of a bunny delivering baskets of candy, and brightly dyed eggs. So, what are our favorites?...and least favorites? National Today conducted a survey. Our LEAST favorite Easter treat is reportedly Marshmellow Peeps. I don't care for them. Coconut macaroons, bubblegum eggs, & Jordan almonds aren't popular, either. Okay, what are  America's favorites? Cadbury Creme eggs come in at #5. They're not as good as they used to be. Cadbury chocolates are no longer imported from England. Hershey owns the brand in the US, and they're using cheaper ingredients. The irony here is 3 of the top 5 are Hershey products. The Hershey Chocolate bunny is America's 4th favorite, and #1 is Reese's peanut butter eggs. I kinda like those myself. Happy Easter!
