Three Opelousas Men Arrested After Drive-by Shooting in Lafayette
19-year-old Kevon Henry, 21-year-old Traivon Mayo, and 36-year-old Macarthur Johnson - all of Opelousas - have each been charged with four counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder following a drive-by shooting Saturday in the 2800 block of Verot School Road in Lafayette.
Lafayette Police Department spokesman Sgt. Wayne Griffin says four victims were riding in a vehicle headed southbound when it was allegedly shot at by a vehicle containing the suspects that one of the victims was able to describe to investigators. The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office was able to help Lafayette PD bring the suspects back to Lafayette for booking into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
The four victims were uninjured.
