Each Spring and Fall semester, AOC hosts a series of rotating workshops and events to educate the local community about digital media production. We are currently seeking creative, skilled session leaders to share their passion with a group of interested community members.

Sessions generally run 60 minutes to 90 minutes depending on attendance size and subject matter, and are conducted on weekday evenings (Saturdays possible):

AOC Lagniappe Workshops: A series of workshops, presentations and classes offered to AOC members (and non-members) that teach and develop media skills of all types. Popular topics include, but not limited to: Acting, Animation, Photography, Lighting, Voiceover, Podcasting, Special Effects Makeup, and Virtual Reality. 60-90 minutes. $50 per session.

AOC Teen MUSE Program: A free after-school teen program (for ages 12-17) that introduces local youth to various forms of art, media, and technology. Mondays, 4:30-6:00pm. 90 minutes. $75 per session.

For more info about partnering with AOC or to submit a workshop proposal for our lineup, email Education Coordinator Christy Tracie at ctracie@aocinc.org or complete the form below.
