Two suspects have been arrested for the murder of a pizza delivery man in Lafayette last night.

Lafayette Parish Sheriff's spokesperson John Mowell said 22-year-old Ferris Martin and 30-year-old Kevin Morrison were arrested on charges of first degree murder for the killing of William D. Kline.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for a shooting in progress at 3:38 p.m. Friday afternoon.  Deputies responded to the scene on Marigny Circle a few minutes later and discovered Kline's body.

Kline was working as a pizza delivery driver for Papa John's Pizza in Lafayette.

Kline's cause of death is is believed to be related to severe trauma he sustained to his upper body.The case remains under investigation.
