Two Arrested in Lafayette After Guns Found Inside Stolen Vehicle
28-year-old Dillon Baucum and 24-year-old Joey Broussard have been arrested and face multiple charges after Lafayette Parish Sheriff's deputies found several stolen guns in a vehicle which had been reported stolen on July 20 in the 2600 block of Mills Street.
Valerie Ponsetti, Public Affairs Communications Consultant with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, says the stolen guns were linked to cases by multiple local agencies.
Baucum has been charged with:
- 5 counts of Possession of Stolen Property
- 3 counts of Possession of An Unidentifiable Firearm
- Unauthorized Use of a Moveable
- 3 counts of Simple Burglary by the Lafayette Police Department
Broussard has been charged with:
- 5 counts of Possession of Stolen Property
- 3 counts of Possession of An Unidentifiable Firearm
- Unauthorized Use of a Moveable
