Two Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Youngsville

42-year-old Lauri Walters is now dead after 45-year-old Trent Bodin allegedly killed her before turning the gun on himself.

That's according to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, whose deputies found the both people dead after 10:00 p.m. Thursday night in the 100 block of Maple Grove Lane in Youngsville.
