Two Men Wanted in New Iberia Shooting

Brendon Morton and Bryson Johnson are wanted following a shooting that happened in the 900 block of Mississippi Street in New Iberia late Tuesday night.

New Iberia Police Department spokesman Captain John Babin says one person was injured in the shooting and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Brendon Morton and Bryson Johnson are each wanted for:

• 2 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder
• Illegal Discharge of a Firearm/Weapon
• Aggravated Criminal Damage
• Felon in Possession of a Firearm
